FROM LOCAL SPECIALITIES TO WORLDLY FARE, THE SPECTRUM of flavours on the island is extensive and delicious. For local dishes, the must-try hotlist is predominantly seafood: lobster, conch, snapper, grouper, wahoo, mahi-mahi, while dishes like jerk chicken and curried goat give tasty alternatives for the discerning meat-lover. local dishes are served many different ways, including curried, grilled, jerked and blackened as well as cracked, in a chowder, or as fritters (usually conch fritters). For a bit of culinary action from overseas, international cuisine includes Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, Indian, Thai and French, to name a few.

Vegan or vegetarian? Choose from a well-crafted selection of specialist dishes offering variety and flavour, including black bean soup and pumpkin ravioli to vegetable tarts, red bean stew, curried tofu and quinoa burgers. For further info, take a look at the feature on page 58 of our 2017 Providenciales Dining Guide. We recommend calling restaurants in advance to check their vegan and vegetarian options.
