Lauren is a security operations specialist at Wells Fargo from Charlotte, NC, and Brandon is an electrical engineer from West Jefferson, NC. The two first met when Lauren bumped into a coworker on a night out, who introduced her to his friend Brandon. As the evening went on they started chatting and Brandon asked if he could take Lauren out sometime. Lauren agreed and a week later they went out on a movie date.

Lauren had no idea at the time that this would be the man she would marry. The couple dated for four years, and on the anniversary of their movie date, Brandon popped the question.

Knowing they wanted a destination wedding, the pair started researching online for the ideal location to exchange vows. Brandon’s brother, Marty, had visited the islands in 2016 and had nothing but great things to say about TCI. Lauren and Brandon decided sight unseen that this was the perfect place for them.

The wedding was an intimate affair, with just the happy couple, plus Marty and Scott in attendance. The ceremony took place at a secluded beach in Leeward and the most incredible sky and sunset followed. Dolphins even passed by to wish the couple well!

After the nuptials the group went for a celebratory dinner at Coco Bistro.

Lauren and Brandon would like to thank Sean Brady from Kaieri Photography. “We had never had professional pictures taken until the day of the ceremony, had no idea what we were doing. Sean and his assistant guided us throughout the whole process making it fun and comfortable. They captured some amazing photos that we will cherish always.”

They would also like to thank Luise Bayley their wedding coordinator. “Luise made our experience throughout the entire process very easy and stress free. From the first time we met her she made us feel like family.”

We wish Lauren and Brandon a lifetime of happiness, and hope to see them back in the Turks & Caicos Islands very soon.
