TIS’ THE SEASON OF INDEED, A NEW SEASON, AND WITH SPRING FINALLY here our shopping lists are undergoing a makeover. A warmer climate requires a spring-friendly wardrobe, giving way to the inevitable periodic urge to upgrade, refresh, and start over. Luckily, we’re hot year round, so our selection of soft linens, hats, dresses and flip-flops is vast, varied, and on the money when it comes to dressing for hotter climes.

On Providenciales the main shopping areas are Regent Village, Ports of Call, The Saltmills, and Caicos Café Plaza. Boutiques are curated with paradise in mind, selling goods that are well-crafted and high quality. They include: locally made grass and straw baskets, ceramic art, scarfs, local paintings, photographs, Cuban cigars, and local food ranging from Bambarra rum cakes to chutneys, as well as the Bambarra Rum itself.

For jewellery-enthusiasts, you’ll find no shortage of gemstones here, from aquamarines to pearls set in exquisite gold and silverwork. Those interested in watersports can enjoy a multitude of quality gear and equipment, including rash guards, waterproof bags, board shorts, sunglass leashes, and GoPro accessories. The main shopping areas are interspersed with fantastic restaurants, giving plenty of lunch options for those wanting a shopping-inclined time-out.
